At Healing Quest our therapists
share one major focus, one common goal. This is to guide every person
onto a fully conscious path towards true health. We assist in creating
an inner body awareness through very simple steps. Steps based on knowledge,
daily practice and the support and availability of personal licensed
certified healers, who truly care.
Healing Quest Center provides Nutrition
Consulting, Grocery Store Walkabouts and one on one Cooking
Classes as well as personal cooking for pickup
and home delivery. We also offer Ayurvedic
Services including PanchaKarma, Udwarthenum (fat burning),
and Khezi (fibromyalgia) treatments. In addressing Detox Support we
offer Colon
Hydrotherapy and Acupuncture
and Chinese Medicine.
Our approach for Healing Quest Center was born out of client requests and inquiries as well as our many practitioner's professional objectives. Deborah Arneson (bio) of Nutrition Consultants sprouted a vision in the early eighties to bring a group of truly caring holistic healers together to guide, educate and assist people in all walks of life onto their path of total vibrant health. Deborah envisioned this center for healing while in the mountains next to a babbling brook with majestic scenery, blue skies and an abundance of nature's little critters gracing the landscape. This vision was put on the shelf as in the early eighties most of Chicago was still downing "hot dogs" and martinis at lunch.
Fast forward to the early nineties. Nutrition Consultants continued to change and grow! Deborah began producing her own cable TV show, writing , traveling and lecturing more. Nutrition Consultants needed an office manager. Christina Pfeifer (bio) came on board and took over the daily ins and outs of running the company and jump-started Nutrition Consultants to a new growth position.
Deborah and Christina joined to create Colon Care Inc. of Chicago. Christina then became a certified colon hydrotherapist and has since developed an educational curriculum for Colon Care Hydrotherapy School of Chicago. Together they moved to a larger space in 1997, and one year later Deborah's personal Chiropractor joined them. One became three! Then Charlee Rojek joined them after obtaining her degree in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. Always searching for a integrative holistic based doctor, Deborah met Dr. Emily Lindner who is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Lindner shares Deborah's energy and passion regarding healing perspectives, belief systems and the importance of education for the patient.
Deborah and Christina went to India in 1998 to study Ayurvedic Medicine. Long story short, they experienced and studied the powerful 5000 year old healing modality called PanchaKarma. Deborah's and Christina's results and transformations were so astounding, not only on a physical but also from a emotional and spiritual perspective, Deborah brought PanchaKarma to Chicago to share the benefits of this magical, powerful treatment with her clients. Each year Deborah and Christina have returned to India to study and travel, recruiting practitioners and amazing additions in the realm of Ayurvedic Medicine. Over these many years, we have healed thousands with Panchakarma.
Healing Quest Center brings to you practitioners who truly care, who empower you through education and daily practice, who make healing exciting and compelling. Our practitioners take you by the hand when need be and help you to "fly" when you are balanced, stable and ready.
